We all have been touched by someone who has had to deal with huge challenges in their lives. I have one very dear friend who has had to deal with more challenges then anyone I know before the age of 40.
So this necklace is in honor of her.
Each charm represents a part of her life.
1. The blue crystal is for her son.
2. The pink is for her battle against breast cancer. She beat it!
3. The star is for her angel in heaven, we love you Angelina.
4. The purple heart represents the foundation she started in honor of her young daughter to provide funding for metabolic research.
5. The word "life" is for her great joy of life. She has so many friends that have helped her through the rough parts, but she has given so much more then she could ever comprehend.

ReplyDeleteAngelina's story is so heartbreaking. I spent 8 weeks in the NICU with my daughter and some of the things I saw while I was there have forever changed me. I was lucky enough to bring my girl home in the end without further complication. Best of luck with the fundraising and I'm sure your friend will love this beautiful necklace
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! I really enjoyed this challenge and hope my friend will love her necklace.
